Treatment FAQs
The VI Peel uses a blend of medical-grade acids and antioxidants to penetrate the skin, exfoliate damaged layers, and stimulate new collagen and elastin. Over the next few days, dull and damaged skin peels away, revealing fresh, renewed skin beneath.
The peel is applied in-office and takes only a few minutes. You may feel a mild tingling or warming sensation, but most patients find the treatment very tolerable. You’ll leave with the peel on your skin and follow simple aftercare instructions at home.
Most patients experience noticeable peeling between days 2–4, which can last up to a week. Social downtime varies, but discomfort is minimal and easily managed with moisturizer and SPF.
A single VI Peel provides visible improvement, but a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart may be recommended for deeper concerns like melasma, acne scarring, and significant pigmentation.
